The Instrumentation Engineer will support the design, engineering, installation, testing, and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems for EPC projects. The role involves preparing engineering deliverables, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Instrumentation Design & Engineering
Prepare and review instrument datasheets, instrument index, I/O lists, cable schedules, and hook-up drawings.
Assist in the development of P&IDs; and instrumentation layouts.
Support selection and specification of field instruments such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters.
Review client specifications and engineering standards.

Project Execution Support
Coordinate with project teams for installation and commissioning activities.
Monitor instrumentation works at project sites and ensure adherence to project schedules.
Provide technical support during project execution and troubleshooting activities.

Testing & Commissioning
Assist in calibration, loop checking, FAT/SAT activities, and commissioning of instrumentation systems.
Support testing of PLC, SCADA, DCS, and control systems where applicable.
Ensure proper documentation of testing and commissioning records.





Vendor & Technical Coordination
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for technical clarifications and material approvals.
Review vendor documents, drawings, and technical submittals.
Assist procurement teams with technical evaluations and material selection.

Documentation & Reporting
Prepare engineering documents, technical reports, progress reports, and project records.
Maintain revision control and ensure timely submission of engineering deliverables.
Support project documentation and handover activities.

Quality, Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and industry standards.
Follow company quality procedures and HSE requirements.
Participate in safety audits, inspections, and quality reviews.

Skills

1–3 years of experience in EPC, industrial projects, process plants, utilities, or automation projects.
Exposure to commissioning and site execution activities will be an added advantage.
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary engineering setting.
Willingness to travel to project sites as required Domestic & Internationally
Immediate joiners preferred.
