Role: Engineer - Machine Shop
Qualification: B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant machine shop experience
Location: Sriperumbudur

Key Responsibilities
Machine Operations &
Oversight:

Manage and operate conventional and advanced machinery, including conventional lathes, milling machines, CNC Turning Lathes, VMC (Vertical Machining Center), VTL (Vertical Turret Lathe), and Double Column VMC with 4th axis.
Production Planning &
Control (PPC):

Plan daily/weekly production schedules, monitor machining output, and resolve bottlenecks to meet delivery timelines.
Manpower Management: Allocate daily tasks, supervise machine operators and technicians,



and manage workforce productivity and shift scheduling.
Drafting &
Design:

Utilize AutoCAD to read, interpret, and modify technical drawings, process layouts, and fixture designs.
Quality &
Process Optimization:

Ensure adherence to strict quality control standards and part specifications.

Required Skills &
Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (B.E. Mech / Diploma Mech).
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience working with conventional and CNC/VMC/VTL machinery.
Mandatory proficiency in AutoCAD for drawing and layout review.
Solid leadership, problem-solving, and manpower handling skills.
Preferred/Bonus: Working knowledge of industrial heat treatment processes.
