Job Summary The Junior Test Engineer will work closely with developers, senior QA engineers, and product owners to ensure the quality of our web applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn automation testing.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Testing
Execute manual test cases
Perform exploratory testing
Validate business requirements
Verify UI functionality
Perform regression testing
Smoke testing before releases
Sanity testing after bug fixes

API Testing
Test REST APIs
Validate request and response payloads
Verify HTTP status codes
Validate authentication and authorization
Use Postman or similar API tools

Bug Reporting
Identify software defects
Create detailed bug reports
Reproduce issues consistently




Verify bug fixes
Track defect lifecycle

Test Documentation
Prepare test cases
Prepare test scenarios
Maintain test execution reports
Update regression test suites
Assist in preparing release validation reports

Collaboration
Participate in sprint planning
Attend daily stand-up meetings
Work with developers during bug fixing
Support UAT activities
