Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Linux Administrator with around 3 years of experience to manage, maintain, and support Linux-based infrastructure in production settings. The candidate should have hands-on experience in system administration, troubleshooting, security, monitoring, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux servers RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu.
Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability.
Perform OS updates, patching, and security hardening.
Manage users, groups, permissions, and access controls.
Troubleshoot system, application, and network-related issues.
Configure and manage Tomcat, Apache, Nginx, SSH, and Java services.
Handle backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
Perform log monitoring and analysis using syslog and journald.
Support automation using Bash/Shell scripting.
Collaborate with DevOps, Network, and Security teams.




Maintain system configuration and operational documentation.

Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Linux OS – RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu.
Good understanding of file systems, permissions, processes, and system administration.
Experience with YUM, DNF, and APT package management.
Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, and basic networking concepts.
Experience with Bash/Shell scripting.
Knowledge of security best practices and firewall configuration.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Nagios and Zabbix.
Basic exposure to AWS/Azure is an advantage.

Preferred Skills
Experience with VMware/KVM virtualization.
Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes.
Experience supporting production environments.
Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery processes.

Soft Skills
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Willingness to work in 247 rotational shifts.
