Roles & Responsibilities of Manager – Store
To check the quality & quantity of materials received at site stores.
Advance planning of material/machinery procurement in coordination with Project Manager/Engineer
Smooth execution of defined material procurement plan, close watch on the timelines
To inform Project Manager about the movement of material so as to plan further procurement if required well in advance.
To conduct market enquiry if required.
To prepare GRNs and send to Purchase Dept. regularly.
Regular follow up with the suppliers /maintenance department for timely delivery of materials /machinery.
To identify slow moving materials and to check if it is required at any other site.
To prepare and submit monthly stock of materials to the Purchase Department.
Petty Cash maintenance & Local Liasoning / documentation with client/vendors/service providers.
Time to time stock reconciliation.
Wastage minimization, reuse & recycling of the material.
Proper utilization of available machinery & material, actual counting of material should be in practice on day-to-day basis.
Monitor & Support Safety & Security Activities.
