Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with 10–15 years of experience in industrial construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for mechanical construction activities, site execution, installation, inspection, testing, commissioning, and coordination with various project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, supervise, and execute mechanical construction and installation activities at the project site.

Handle installation of mechanical equipment, piping, utility systems, and related mechanical works.

Review mechanical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and method statements.

Coordinate with consultants, client representatives, contractors, vendors, and other engineering disciplines.

Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed as per approved schedules.

Ensure mechanical works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Supervise manpower, subcontractors, and daily site activities.

Conduct inspections, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of mechanical systems.





Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain project documentation.

Identify site issues, coordinate for technical resolutions, and ensure timely closure.

Monitor material requirements, availability, and installation progress.

Ensure compliance with EHS and industrial safety standards throughout construction activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

10–15 years of relevant experience in industrial construction projects.

Experience in FMCG / food & beverage / manufacturing plant projects will be preferred.

Solid experience in mechanical equipment installation, piping, utilities, and site execution.

Valuable knowledge of mechanical drawings, specifications, QA/QC procedures, and construction practices.

Experience handling contractors and site manpower.

Positive coordination, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently at a project site and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Preferred: Candidates with experience in large-scale industrial projects, particularly PepsiCo or similar FMCG manufacturing projects, will be preferred.
