L1 Network & Server Support Engineer

Experience: 2–3 years

Role Summary The L1 Network & Server Support Engineer will be responsible for first-level troubleshooting and operational support of network and server infrastructure. The resource will act as the first point of technical support, promptly identify incidents, perform basic troubleshooting, maintain tickets and escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 teams within defined SLA timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Perform first-level troubleshooting for IT Infrastructure / Network & Server

Mandatory
Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, OSI Model and networking fundamentals.
Positive understanding of:
IP addressing and subnetting
DNS and DHCP
VLAN basics
Routing and switching basics
VPN fundamentals
Firewall fundamentals

Educational Qualification
B.E./B.Tech./BCA/MCA/B.Sc. IT/Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
Diploma in Computer/IT/Networking with relevant experience may also be considered.
