We are looking for an experienced Manual Lathe Turner / Machinist to join our engineering job-work workshop in Padi, Chennai. The candidate will be responsible for operating conventional/manual lathe machines and producing engineering components as per customer requirements and drawings.

Responsibilities
Operate conventional/manual lathe machines safely and efficiently.
Read and understand basic engineering drawings and job specifications.
Perform turning, facing, threading, boring, drilling and related machining operations.
Take accurate measurements using vernier calipers, micrometers and other measuring instruments.
Maintain required dimensions, tolerances and surface finish.
Handle different types of machining jobs and materials.
Maintain machine cleanliness and basic day-to-day care.




Complete jobs according to required quality and delivery schedules.

Requirements
Experience as a Manual Turner / Lathe Operator / Machinist preferred.
ITI Turner or Machinist qualification is an advantage.
Knowledge of engineering drawings and measuring instruments preferred.
Ability to work independently and maintain positive quality.
Experienced candidates are preferred; suitable ITI freshers with a willingness to learn may also be considered.

Location: Padi, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Salary based on experience and skill.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
