Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Manual Tester with 3+ years of hands-on experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in manual testing, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities
Perform manual testing of web and software applications.
Understand business and technical requirements and create appropriate test scenarios and test cases.
Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate defect management tools.
Perform end-to-end testing to ensure application quality and functionality.
Analyze requirements and identify potential gaps, risks, and edge cases.
Reproduce, investigate, and report software defects with clear and detailed information.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
Perform retesting and regression testing after defects are fixed.
Maintain test cases, test reports, and other testing documentation.




Ensure the application meets defined quality standards and business requirements.
Independently manage testing activities and deliver tasks within timelines.

Skills
3+ years of experience in Manual Testing/Software Testing.
Solid knowledge of manual testing methodologies and processes .
Hands-on experience in functional and regression testing .
Positive understanding of SDLC and STLC .
Robust knowledge of test case creation and test execution.
Good defect identification, reporting, and tracking skills.
Experience with defect/test management tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.

Preferred Skills
Experience testing web-based applications.
Basic knowledge of SQL/database testing is an added advantage.
Basic understanding of API testing is an added advantage.
