Position: CTVS Surgeon

Department: Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery (CTVS)

Employment Type: Full-Time / Consultant

Reporting To: Medical Superintendent / Hospital Management

Job Summary The CTVS Surgeon will be responsible for providing specialized surgical care for patients with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular conditions. The surgeon will evaluate patients, perform appropriate surgical procedures, manage post-operative care, and work closely with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient consultations, clinical assessments, and surgical evaluations.
Diagnose and manage cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical conditions.
Perform CTVS surgical procedures as per clinical requirements and expertise.
Review investigations, imaging, and pre-operative assessments.
Plan and explain surgical procedures, risks, benefits, and alternatives to patients and attendants.
Ensure proper pre-operative and post-operative patient management.
Monitor patients in ICU and post-operative care areas.
Manage surgical complications and provide timely intervention.
Coordinate with Cardiology, Anesthesia, ICU, Emergency,



and other departments.
Participate in emergency and critical care management when required.
Maintain accurate patient records, operative notes, and discharge summaries.
Follow hospital protocols, infection-control practices, patient-safety standards, and NABH requirements.
Participate in clinical meetings, audits, training, and quality-improvement activities.
Maintain qualified communication with patients, attendants, and hospital staff.

Qualification
MS/DNB in Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery (CTVS) or equivalent recognized qualification.
Valid medical registration.
Relevant experience in CTVS procedures and patient management.

Pay: ₹1,813,665.94 - ₹3,205,220.52 per year
