Analyst- Micro Biologist

Position Overview

We are looking for a fresher Jr. Microbiologist for the Microbiology Department of our NABL-accredited testing laboratory. The candidate should have robust knowledge of microbiological concepts, laboratory operations. The candidate should be willing to learn while ensuring compliance with NABL (ISO/IEC 17025) requirements and laboratory SOPs

Key responsibilities:
Maintain the laboratory and its activities as per SOPs.
Receive and handle samples accurately.
Perform testing as assigned.
Maintain records for verification, intermediate checks, performance verification, preventive maintenance, and equipment history.
Manage records for receiving, handling, and storage of chemicals, CRM, reagents, and supplements.
Maintain critical records.Conduct testing as per standard, customer-prescribed, and in-house methods ensuring safety, accuracy, and timely delivery.
Update raw data, logbooks, and chemical preparation records.
Maintain daily temperature, balance, oven, autoclave and muffle furnace records.




Record results in observation sheets as assigned.Ensure timely calibration of instruments.
Follow Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for secure handling and disposal of chemicals and microbial waste.
Support budgetary control within the department.
Participate in training sessions and development programs.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and disinfection of the laboratory and equipment.
Support continuous improvement of testing procedures, laboratory efficiency, and quality systems.

Qualification M.Sc. / M.Tech. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Microbiology, Life Sciences, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

Eligibility
Freshers only
Solid preference for candidates with food testing / food matrix knowledge.
Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and NABL-accredited laboratory is a plus.

Pay: From ₹10,000.00 per month
