Study architectural, interior, landscape, faade, and RCP drawings and understand project requirements.

Develop lighting concepts for residential, commercial, hospitality, retail, landscape, and faade projects.

Prepare lighting layouts and fixture positioning based on architectural requirements.

Perform lighting calculations and simulations using DIALux / DIALux evo.

Prepare lighting calculation reports including lux levels, uniformity, and relevant technical information.

Select suitable luminaires based on wattage, lumen output, beam angle, CRI, CCT, IP rating, mounting type, finish, and application.

Prepare and revise BOQs, fixture schedules, technical submittals, and product specifications.

Review consultant/client lighting specifications and propose suitable products or alternatives.

Coordinate with architects, interior designers, MEP consultants, lighting consultants, and site teams.

Prepare lighting presentations, concept presentations, product presentations, and technical comparison sheets.

Support mock-ups and sample approvals and incorporate feedback into the final design.

Conduct site visits when required to verify dimensions, mounting conditions,



ceiling details, electrical provisions, and actual site requirements.

Coordinate with the sales and project teams for technical clarifications and product selection.

Provide technical support during installation and commissioning.

Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, BOQs, approvals, and final selections.

Ensure that designs are technically feasible, commercially viable, and suitable for execution at site.

Positive understanding of architectural drawings and RCPs

Knowledge of LED lighting products and applications

Understanding of Lux, Lumen, CCT, CRI, Beam Angle, UGR, IP/IK ratings, drivers and dimming systems

Basic knowledge of lighting controls such as DALI, 0–10V, DMX and Casambi will be an advantage

Valuable communication and coordination skills
