Role Description The Nut Former Operator is a full-time, in office role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. This role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring nut-forming machines to produce fasteners according to specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities include adjusting machine settings, performing routine inspections, identifying and resolving minor mechanical issues, and ensuring that production targets are met safely and efficiently. The operator will check dimensions and surface quality of produced parts, maintain clean and organized workstations, and follow all safety and maintenance procedures.



Collaboration with production supervisors, quality control teams, and maintenance staff is expected to ensure smooth operations and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications
Experience operating nut formers or similar cold heading / fastener manufacturing machinery, with robust mechanical aptitude.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, basic measurements, and production specifications.
Knowledge of shop-floor safety practices, machine maintenance basics, and quality control procedures.
Prior experience in industrial manufacturing, preferably in fasteners or metal components.
Physical ability to work on the shop floor, including standing for extended periods and handling materials safely.
Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work shifts as required and to follow company policies and procedures.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical or manufacturing fields is an advantage.
