Sterile Compounding and Preparation
Secure reconstitution: Prepare hazardous anti-cancer drugs in specialized sterile cleanrooms or isolators.
Managing safety: Protect staff and workplace by using strict containment techniques and proper disposal protocols for hazardous waste.
Quality control: Ensure accurate labeling,



expiration dates, and stability of mixed intravenous infusions.

Patient Care and Education
Consultation: Explain the treatment schedule, self-care steps, and potential side effects to patients and their families.
Supportive care: Manage chemotherapy-induced side effects like nausea, pain, and low immunity with targeted medications.
Adherence tracking: Answer patient questions and monitor compliance between daycare visits.
