Job purpose To ensure the proper dispensing of medicines and management of pharmaceutical inventory in the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU), ensuring compliance with legal and medical standards.

Duties and responsibilities

· Dispense prescribed medications to patients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the doctor's prescriptions.

· Maintain and manage pharmaceutical inventory, ensuring no medicines are past their expiry date and stock is rotated to minimize wastage.

· Ensure the availability of a set of 100+ generic medicines suitable for both adult and pediatric patients.

· Maintain detailed records of patients who have availed of pharmacy services.

· Provide patients with information on the proper use of their medications and answer any questions they may have.

· Ensure patient confidentiality at all times.

· Submit monthly reports to the Medical Officer.

· Assist in maintaining the MMU's inventory of medical supplies and consumables.

· Adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines for pharmacy practice.

· Assist the Medical Officer and paramedic staff as needed, including during health camps and outreach activities.





· Report any issues or discrepancies to the Assistant Project Manager promptly.

· Participate in periodic quality audits and training sessions as required.

· Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area in the MMU.

Timely, apt and informed decisions on steps to be taken to achieve the required proficiency in the manpower for delivering standard quality services

Qualifications / Certifications

· Minimum qualification required – D. Pharm

· Basic computer proficiency.

· Valuable communication and Interpersonal skills

· Should be proficient in Hindi and English.

Working conditions

Should be open to work in rotational shifts as per the project when required

Should be open to travel for executing the job responsibilities of conducting field training

Appropriate minimum qualified standards in required skill/competency (Typing, Communication, etc.) in Tele-health perspective

Technical / Physical requirements

Job location: Satara district, Maharashtra

Timings: 8 Hours/day

Workdays: 6 days/ week

Required Languages

· Able to speak, read, and write in English, Marathi, and Hindi (mandatory).
