Job purpose The Pharmacist will play a crucial role in ensuring the protected and effective use of medications by providing pharmacy services at the healthcare facility. The role involves reviewing prescriptions, dispensing medications, educating patients, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical guidelines.

Duties and responsibilities

 Dispense prescribed medications accurately and ensure proper labeling and instructions for usage.

 Conduct pharmaceutical assessments, verifying prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and potential interactions.

 Counsel patients on proper medication use, including dosage, side effects, and storage.

 Educate patients on medication adherence and potential drug interactions.

 Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of medications according to regulatory guidelines.

 Maintain accurate records of dispensed medications and update inventory logs.

 Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment of medicines.

 Work collaboratively with healthcare specialists to ensure appropriate patient care.





 Adhere to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and hospital policies.

 Provide training to healthcare staff on medication safety and protocols when required.

Qualifications / Certifications

 Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) with a minimum of 1 years of experience

 Valid pharmacist license from the relevant authority.

 Robust knowledge of drug compositions, interactions, and regulatory guidelines.

 Excellent communication skills to counsel patients effectively.

 Ability to maintain accurate documentation and manage inventory efficiently

Working conditions

Should be open to work as per the organization and project requirement.

Timings: 8 hours

Workdays: 6 days a week

Required Languages

 Able to Speak, Read and Write in English, Hindi and Regional language.
