Key Responsibilities

Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently.

Review prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions, and contraindications.

Maintain adequate stock levels and manage pharmacy inventory.

Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines as per regulatory guidelines.

Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff regarding medication requirements.

Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and precautions.

Maintain pharmacy records and documentation.

Handle purchase requests, stock verification, and expiry management.

Adhere to hospital policies, NABH standards, and pharmacy regulations.

Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

B.Pharm / D.Pharm from a recognized institution.

Registered Pharmacist with State Pharmacy Council.





Positive knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and medication management.

Familiarity with pharmacy software and inventory management systems.

Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
