Responsibilities
Carry out assembly and fitting of chains and related mechanical components as per work instructions.
Assemble and install chains, sprockets, shafts, bearings, rollers, bushes, brackets and other mechanical parts.
Perform proper chain alignment, sprocket alignment and chain tensioning during assembly.
Ensure correct positioning and fitment of all components before final tightening.
Maintain proper 5S, cleanliness and housekeeping at the workplace.
Requirements and Qualifications
ITI – Fitter / Vocational
Experience required – 1 to 3 Yrs in of relevant experience in mechanical assembly, chain assembly.
Must have Positive understanding of mechanical fitting, alignment and assembly procedures.
Should be Able to use hand tools and power tools such as spanners, torque wrenches, Allen keys.
Should have an Understanding of fasteners, nuts, bolts, washers, bearings, shafts, sprockets and mechanical drive components.
