We are looking for a Project Engineer to take responsibility for implementing and supporting technology initiatives within an engineering and manufacturing environment.

The person will be expected to work across engineering, operations teams and help drive projects from pilot implementation through to routine operational use.

The role requires a combination of practical engineering understanding, analytical ability and comfort with digital tools. The candidate need not be a specialist software developer, but should be capable of understanding technical systems, working with structured data, and coordinating with internal or external technology resources where required.

Qualification

Diploma or Degree in any of the following:

Mechanical Engineering , Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics , Instrumentation Engineering A Mechanical Engineer with positive electrical or instrumentation knowledge, or an Electrical / Instrumentation Engineer with practical exposure to mechanical or industrial equipment, would be suitable.

Skills & Experience





Experience in project development or implementation within engineering, manufacturing or industrial equipment environments is preferred.

The candidate should have

*Good understanding of mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering concepts.

*Solid analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.

*Ability to understand engineering processes and translate operational requirements into practical technology solutions.

*Positive working knowledge of Excel and structured data.

*Ability to work independently and coordinate with engineering, operations and technology teams.

*Attention to detail in technical documentation and project records.

*Ability to manage a hybrid working arrangement involving both on-site and remote work.

*Knowledge of Python, Power Query, APIs, databases, industrial data acquisition, instrumentation or sensor integration would be an added advantage.
