Significant Experience: Production- Assembly line- Light Manufacturing

Role & Responsibilities
Plan, monitor, and execute daily production activities to meet production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
Ensure achievement of production targets with respect to quantity, quality, productivity, and cost.
Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams for smooth manufacturing operations.
Monitor and improve production KPIs such as OEE, downtime, rejection rate, cycle time, and productivity.
Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Identify process bottlenecks and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for sustainable improvements.
Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and customer requirements.
Support root cause analysis (RCA) and resolution of production and quality issues.
Ensure compliance with EHS, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
Coordinate preventive maintenance activities and ensure machine availability.
Support installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment and processes.




Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and MIS.
Train and guide operators and line leaders on process, quality, and safety requirements.

Preferred Candidate Profile
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing/production operations.
Experience in Lighting, LED, Electrical Equipment, Consumer Electricals, Electronics Manufacturing, or related industries preferred.
Robust knowledge of Production Planning, Process Optimization, OEE, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S.
Experience in shop-floor management and assembly/manufacturing operations.
Hands-on exposure to Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA, and continuous improvement projects.
Good understanding of quality systems, productivity improvement, and safety compliance.
Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems.
Robust communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
