Role & responsibilities
Prepare the Operation Theatre before scheduled procedures.
Arrange and check surgical instruments, OT equipment and required supplies.
Assist surgeons, anesthetists and nursing staff during surgical procedures.
Ensure proper sterilization and availability of surgical instruments.
Maintain OT cleanliness, hygiene and infection-control standards.
Check OT equipment and report any malfunction or shortage.
Assist in shifting and positioning patients as required.
Maintain proper records of OT procedures, instruments and consumables.
Ensure availability of emergency and surgical supplies.
Follow hospital protocols, infection-control guidelines and safety procedures.
Coordinate with nursing, housekeeping and other hospital departments.
Properly clean, disinfect and send instruments for sterilization after procedures.




Perform other OT-related duties assigned by the senior staff or hospital management.
