Tailor Master / Cutting Master – Garment Manufacturing Location: Faridabad, Haryana Job Type: Full time Experience: 3–10 years (relevant to seniority you're hiring for) Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹35,000/month (based on experience) (adjust before posting) About the Role We are looking for an experienced Tailor Master who is equally skilled at hands-on stitching and operating cutting machines, to join our garment manufacturing unit. This is a hybrid production role — you'll be responsible for precise fabric cutting as well as high-quality tailoring/finishing work.

Key Responsibilities Operate fabric cutting machines to cut garment pieces as per patterns, measurements, and design specifications Execute expert-level tailoring — stitching, fitting,



and finishing garments to a high quality standard Read and interpret garment patterns and cutting layouts accurately to minimize fabric wastage Inspect fabric for defects before cutting and flag quality issues Guide and coordinate with junior tailors/helpers on the production floor when needed Maintain and care for cutting machines and tailoring equipment Ensure garments meet quality checks before moving to the next production stage Manage production timelines and help meet daily/weekly output targets Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience as a Tailor Master and/or Cutting Master in a garment manufacturing setup Hands-on expertise operating fabric cutting machines (straight knife/band knife or similar) Strong tailoring skills — stitching, pattern reading, garment construction Positive understanding of fabric types and cutting techniques to reduce wastage Attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and manage production flow with minimal supervision Prior experience in a manufacturing/export house setting preferred Nice to Have Experience with pattern making Experience supervising a small team of tailors/helpers Familiarity with different fabric types (e.g., cotton, silk, tencel, blends)
