Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically sound Purchase Engineer to manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, and cost optimization. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of engineering materials, sourcing strategies, and supply chain processes to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing.

Key Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors/suppliers for engineering materials and services
Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company policies
Compare and analyze quotations to ensure cost efficiency and quality standards
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
Coordinate with internal departments (production, quality, stores) to understand material requirements
Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases accordingly
Ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality requirements




Handle vendor performance evaluation and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
2–5 years of experience in procurement/purchasing in an engineering or manufacturing environment
Good knowledge of engineering materials, components, and vendor markets
Solid negotiation and communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (Zoho, Busy, Tranzacht,etc.)
