Role & responsibilities

Development- Managing end to end development of all components(mainly Sheet Metal,Plastics & Electrical) for all current projects while developing a win-win relation for customer requirements and supplier needs.

Sourcing- Ensure timely launch of recent projects and ensuring all compliance items are met with a cost and quality sensitive approach. Support for Vendor development- domestic and overseas.

Quality Management- Must have a strong quality acumen and enforce quality standards. Will be working closely with Supplier Quality and Plant quality.

Vendor Selection & upgradation- To ensure qualified suppliers are selected for the development & and work closely with Quality teams to uplift existing vendors capability.

Process Improvements- To monitor and improve the utilization of set controls and have excellent stakeholder management to ensure internal processes are followed while balancing the project time-lines.

Project Control- To control the overall project launches for SCM function and drive team to set targets.





Data Management- Ensure data accuracy for each phase and gate for the project including but not limited to BoM updates, supplier approval status and cost of each material.

Price Management- Should be able to support should cost models for Sheet Metal,Plastic & Electrical categories

Compliance to the statutory audit requirements - Adherence to SOP and compliance requirement per customer and market needs.

Preferred candidate profile

Educational Qualification

Essential: B.E./B.Tech. or Diploma with specialization in Mechanical / Electrical / from State/Govt. recognized University

Preferred: Post Graduation in Materials Management from recognized institute relevant to the function

Work Experience Required (In yrs.)

Total: 2 to 8 yrs
