Job Title: Rate Estimation Engineer

Location: Vadodara, Gujarat

We are looking for a Rate Estimation Engineer to prepare accurate costing and competitive quotations for flanges, forged fittings, butt-weld fittings, olets and custom forgings.

Key Responsibilities:
Review customer enquiries, RFQs, BOQs, technical specifications and drawings.
Identify material grades, sizes, pressure classes, schedules and applicable standards.
Calculate material weight, raw material requirements, wastage and manufacturing costs.
Estimate forging, machining, heat treatment, fabrication, testing, inspection, packing and freight expenses.
Obtain supplier quotations and compare prices for purchased materials and outsourced processes.
Prepare item-wise costing sheets and techno-commercial offers within enquiry deadlines.
Coordinate with production, purchase and quality teams to confirm manufacturing feasibility and delivery periods.
Support tender pricing,



clarification replies and quotation revisions.
Maintain updated material rates, supplier quotations and historical costing records.

Candidate Requirements:
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant industry experience.
Experience in costing and estimation of piping products, forgings or fabricated components.
Ability to read engineering drawings and understand material specifications.
Familiarity with relevant ASME/ASTM standards.
Proficiency in MS Excel, weight calculations and detailed costing.
Robust attention to accuracy and quotation deadlines.

Preferred: Experience with refinery, petrochemical, EPC or oil and gas enquiries. NOTE - SALARY WILL BE GIVEN AS PER EXPERIENCE

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
