The Hawk Tech is a digital marketing and web development agency based in Mohali, serving clients across India, the UK, the USA, and Canada. We're a small, hands-on team looking for a developer who wants to own real client projects — not just tickets.

Role Overview

n

We're looking for a full-time, in-house Web Developer to build and maintain WordPress, Shopify or any other CMS websites for our clients — from new site builds to ongoing fixes and improvements. This is a dedicated role: you'll be the primary developer handling day-to-day project work, working closely with the founder and the rest of the team.

Responsibilities

n

- Build and customize WordPress websites using Elementor, PODS, and WooCommerce
n
- Handle bug fixes, plugin/theme updates, and site maintenance for existing client sites
n
- Follow our internal Definition-of-Done checklist for every task before marking it complete
n
- Communicate task progress clearly (daily updates) — no need to be asked twice
n
- Troubleshoot issues independently and escalate only when genuinely stuck
n
- Occasionally assist with basic on-page SEO implementation
n

Requirements

n

n
- 1–2 years of hands-on WordPress and Shopify development experience
n
- Strong working knowledge of Elementor, PODS, and WooCommerce
n
- Comfortable with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Next.js, and basic PHP
n
- Database handling
n
- Migrations and server/DNS handling
n
- Able to work independently once given a explicit task scope
n
- Good spoken and written English (for occasional client communication)
n
- This must be your only full-time commitment — no parallel job or freelance conflicts
n
