Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accounts Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting and reporting functions for the largest operational entity within our Group. They will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information while adhering to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper classification of transactions.
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Coordinate with vendors & customer & perform outstanding balances reconciliation.
Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Prepare and file tax returns in accordance with local regulations.




Stay updated on changes in tax laws and ensure compliance with all applicable requirements.
Coordinate with external auditors and facilitate the audit process.
Prepare audit schedules and respond to inquiries to ensure a smooth audit.
Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve ef
ficiency.
Implement best practices to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant Accounting Standards.
Consolidate financial data and provide timely and accurate reports to management.

• Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
Take on other ad-hoc projects assigned from time to time

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in finance / accounting.
Minimum experience in accounting and finance role of 2 years & above.

• Solid understanding of accounting.
Experience in FinTech or Financial industries is highly preferred.
Experience with an audit firm is an added advantage.
Understanding of accounting systems such as Xero is an added advantage.
Good attitude & rapid learner, with solid interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
