Job Responsibilities
Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental procedures at the construction site.
Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions or practices.
Ensure workers use appropriate PPE at all times.
Conduct toolbox talks and safety induction programs.
Monitor work-at-height activities, scaffolding, lifting operations, and electrical safety.
Ensure protected working procedures for excavation, hot work and other high-risk activities.
Verify work permits and maintain permit-to-work documentation.
Inspect scaffolding, ladders, safety nets, barricades and access arrangements.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors and supervisors regarding safety compliance.
Investigate incidents,
near misses and unsafe acts and maintain records.
Maintain safety registers, inspection reports and statutory documentation.
Ensure emergency equipment and fire extinguishers are available and maintained.
Conduct emergency drills and support emergency-response procedures.
Immediately report responsible safety risks to the Project Manager / Management.
Required Skills
Positive knowledge of construction-site safety practices.
Experience in high-rise construction safety is preferred.
Knowledge of PPE, work-at-height, scaffolding and lifting safety.
Ability to conduct risk assessments and toolbox talks.
Solid observation, reporting, and communication skills.
Ability to enforce safety requirements professionally across site teams.
