Role & responsibilities

Detailed description
Ability to read SLD and layout drawings.
Knowledge of tools: Multimeter, Clamp meter.
Understanding of solar modules, inverters, and protection systems.
Perform DC string wiring and connections.
Connect modules to String Combiner Boxes (SCB).
Lay DC & AC cables as per routing plan.
Connect inverter, LT panel.
Ensure proper crimping, ferruling, and cable dressing.

Earthing & Lightning Protection:
Install module earthing and equipment earthing.
Connect LA (Lightning Arrester) to dedicated earth pit.
Check string voltage and polarity before inverter connection.
Perform continuity tests.
Assist in inverter commissioning.
Monitor generation during initial startup.
Troubleshoot faults and rectify issues.
Regular module cleaning and visual inspection.
Check loose connections, hotspots, and damaged cables.
Replace faulty MC4 connectors or modules.
Attend breakdown maintenance.
Should do Filed visits and shadow analysis.

Preferred candidate profile

ITI/Diploma

Atleast 1 year experience in solar rooftop's

Bike is must, petrol allowance will be given.
