About the Company A player in the Construction Machinery & Tools industry building out its sales and dealer presence across North East India.

About the Role

We're looking for a Sr. Manager – Sales to lead the company's expansion into the North East, building a current dealer network from the ground up across all 7 NE states. This is a hands-on, on-ground leadership role — you'll manage a small sales team, drive new market entry, and report directly to the CEO.

What You Will Do
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets across the 7 NE states
Build and appoint a new dealer network in untapped NE territories
Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers
Set and monitor territory-wise sales targets for the field sales team
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements to shape business development plans
Conduct regular market visits across assigned NE territories
Lead, guide,



and motivate a team of 4 sales team members
Coordinate with the CEO and internal departments for smooth sales operations
Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and performance updates for management
Ensure solid market presence and long-term customer relationships

What We're Looking For
8–10 years of experience in Project Sales, Direct Sales, or Business Development, ideally in Construction Machinery/Industrial Equipment (other industries considered if aligned)
Candidate must currently be based in the North East region — this is a local-hire-only role
Proficiency in Assamese or other regional NE languages is mandatory
Graduate in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred (not mandatory)
Proven track record of building dealer networks, hitting sales targets, and leading a sales team
Robust leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Willingness to travel extensively across all 7 NE states
