Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on flour milling qualified who understands wheat, chakki atta production and the day-to-day operation of a wheat flour mill.
nThis is not a general manufacturing or production manager role. We are specifically looking for someone with experience in wheat flour milling / chakki atta production who can independently manage, troubleshoot and improve flour mill operations.
nWhat you will be responsible for

Manage day-to-day chakki atta / wheat flour productionn
Monitor the complete milling process from wheat intake and cleaning to conditioning, milling and finished flourn
Set and optimise milling parameters to achieve the required flour quality, extraction/yield and production capacityn
Monitor wheat and flour characteristics such as moisture, ash, granulation, gluten and flour consistencyn
Identify reasons for variation in flour quality, yield or throughput and take corrective actionn
Optimise machine settings, process flow and operating practices to improve capacity, flour quality and efficiencyn




Monitor production losses, wastage, downtime and energy consumptionn
Coordinate preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of chakki flour milling equipmentn
Train and supervise operators and production staffn
Maintain production, quality and process recordsn
Work with management and technical teams on continuous improvement of the milling processn

nWho we are looking for
nYou should have practical experience in wheat flour milling.
nPreference will be given to candidates with:

Qualification/training in Flour Milling Technology / Milling Technologyn
Hands-on experience operating or managing a chakki atta plant, wheat flour mill or roller flour milln
Solid understanding of:n
Wheat cleaning and conditioningn
Wheat tempering / moisture managementn
