Development: Identify and onboard strategic partners globally and domestically; foster long-term collaborations to ensure technology pre-eminence and priority service.
Cost Management (TCO): Lead complex negotiations to secure favorable terms; implement VA/VE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) to drive down the total cost of ownership.
Supply Chain Resilience: Mitigate risks
Inventory &
Logistics Excellence: Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, warehouse operations, and inventory turnover to ensure lean manufacturing principles are met.
Regulatory &
Sustainability Compliance:



Ensure all sourcing activities comply with Indian CEV/EV regulations and sustainability mandates.

Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering; an MBA in Supply Chain/Operations is highly preferred.
Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of the Electric Vehicle (EV) powertrain ecosystem (Batteries, Motors, Inverters) and Heavy Equipment components (Castings, Fabrications, Hydraulics).
Negotiation &
Legal: Proven track record in high-value contract negotiations and understanding of legal frameworks for international procurement.
Certifications: Qualified certifications are an advantage.
Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional teams (Sourcing, Planning, Logistics).
