Role Overview We're looking for a Senior Workday Integration Engineer to join our WorkdayIntegration team. This team builds and manages our HR systems, ensuring they scale with Databricks growth. You'll develop and maintain integrations that connect Workday to dozens of internal and external systems. Your work will support our People, FP&A; and Payroll teams, helping streamline operations and improve the employee experience.
Duties The impact you will have:
Design, build, and maintain scalable Workday transformations using Workday Studio, Extend, Core Connectors, and EIB, including the creation of custom applications to enhance user experience
Serve as a subject matter expert on integration architecture, development patterns, and best practices across the Workday ecosystem
Lead technical planning, development, deployment, unit testing, and support of new and existing integrations
Configure and optimize PECI integrations, including custom fields, mapping logic, and file formats, while resolving payroll-related data issues
Investigate integration failures,



perform root cause analysis, and communicate findings to business and technical stakeholders
Collaborate with internal teams (People, Payroll, IT, InfoSec) and third-party vendors to define integration requirements and ensure security and compliance
Maintain transparent, up-to-date documentation, including version control, test plans, and CI/CD processes
Contribute to the ongoing evolution of our Workday strategy
Minimum Requirements What we look for:
7+ years of experience in software or integration engineering, including deep Workday expertise
Experience with at least one full Workday implementation
Proficiency in Workday Studio, Extend, EIB, Core/Cloud Connectors, PECI, and Workday Web Services
Robust skills in XML, XSLT, JavaScript, SOAP/REST APIs, SQL, and data transformation
Ability to lead cross-functional projects and communicate with stakeholders at all levels
