Role & responsibilities
Provide operational support for distributed Java applications, especially those built using Spring and Spring Boot
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
Build automation for monitoring and recurring operational tasks.
Work closely with development teams to analyse and improve reliability, scalability, and performance.
Monitor application health and respond to alerts using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational best practices.
Perform advanced SQL analysis (including joins, aggregations, and window functions) to support troubleshooting, data validation, and root-cause analysis.

Preferred candidate profile
Prior experience supporting Java-based distributed applications.
Solid problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Positive communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
Robust experience in automation using scripts or tools.
Proficiency in Java
Hands-on experience with databases: MySQL and/or MongoDB, with strong SQL skills such as joins, subqueries, and window functions.
Knowledge of modern monitoring tools: Prometheus and Grafana.
