– TGT ENGLISH TEACHER

Position: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – English

Key Responsibilities
Teach English to students at the TGT level according to the prescribed curriculum.
Prepare and deliver engaging, structured, and student-friendly lesson plans.
Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and communication skills.
Conduct regular class tests, assignments, assessments, and examinations.
Maintain accurate records of students’ academic performance and attendance.
Identify students who need additional academic support and provide appropriate guidance.
Encourage participation in debates, elocution, essay writing, reading activities, and other English-language activities.
Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ academic progress when required.
Participate in school events, meetings, training programs, and other academic activities.
Follow school policies, academic standards, and skilled guidelines.

Eligibility




Bachelor’s Degree in English from a recognized university.
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
CTET/TET qualification preferred, where applicable.
Strong command of spoken and written English.
Positive classroom management and communication skills.

Experience
1–5 years of teaching experience preferred.
Freshers with strong subject knowledge and teaching ability may also be considered.

Strong knowledge of English grammar and literature.
Effective classroom management.
Lesson planning and assessment skills.
Student-friendly and positive approach.
Positive interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Ability to use digital teaching tools is an advantage.
