About the Role

We are looking for a creative and trend-aware Video Editor who understands what works on Instagram, YouTube, and other short-form platforms. The ideal candidate should not just edit videos but also understand content, storytelling, pacing, trends, and visual aesthetics .

You will work on Instagram Reels, brand content, YouTube videos, podcasts, promotional videos, and creative campaigns for multiple brands.

Key Responsibilities
Edit engaging Instagram Reels, Shorts, and other short-form content
Edit YouTube videos and podcasts , including long-form episodes and short clips
Stay updated with the latest Instagram/Reels editing trends, transitions, hooks, formats, sounds, and visual styles
Convert raw footage into engaging, platform-specific content
Understand pacing, storytelling, retention, hooks, cuts, subtitles, sound design, and visual flow
Work closely with the creative and social media teams to execute content ideas
Develop creative concepts and suggest better ways to present content
Create and work with mood boards, references, visual styles, and creative directions
Add motion graphics, animations,



text effects, transitions, and other visual elements where required
Repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form videos
Maintain consistency with each brand's visual identity

Required Skills
Robust knowledge of Adobe After Effects
Strong knowledge of DaVinci Resolve
Good understanding of video editing fundamentals and storytelling
Strong understanding of Instagram Reels and short-form content
Experience with YouTube and podcast editing
Good sense of visual aesthetics, composition, typography, music, and pacing
Ability to understand and execute a creative concept
Valuable at creating/referencing mood boards and visual directions
Solid awareness of current social media trends
Ability to work with raw footage and independently take it to a finished output

“How can we make this more engaging?”

You should be someone who actively watches Reels, understands why certain videos perform well, experiments with new editing styles, and can bring fresh ideas to the table.
