About the Role

NexusTraders Academy is looking for a qualified Video Editor to join our content team and handle video production for YouTube, Instagram Reels, and Shorts.

We are looking for someone who understands modern social media editing, storytelling, pacing, audience retention, motion graphics, and visual presentation

Key Responsibilities
Edit high-quality YouTube long-form videos and Instagram Reels/YouTube Shorts.
Create engaging edits using B-roll, graphics, animations, sound effects, music, captions, and transitions.
Create qualified motion graphics, text animations, and visual effects.
Handle color correction/grading and audio enhancement.
Repurpose long-form content into short-form content.
Understand hooks, pacing, pattern interrupts, and audience retention.
Maintain consistency with the NexusTraders brand and editing style.

Required Skills
Adobe Premiere Pro Mandatory
Adobe After Effects Mandatory




Strong knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
Experience with keyframes, masking, tracking, transitions, captions, sound design, and color grading.
DaVinci Resolve / Photoshop / Illustrator knowledge is an advantage.
Strong understanding of YouTube and Instagram content trends.

Practical Editing Test Shortlisted candidates will be given one raw NexusTraders video and one reference video showing the editing style we require.

Candidates will be expected to edit the raw footage and match the reference video as closely as possible, including its pacing, captions, animations, transitions, sound design, and overall visual quality.

The practical assignment will be an significant part of the selection process.
