Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SMT Production qualified to manage and oversee surface mount technology operations on the shop floor, ensuring effective, high-quality PCB assembly in line with production targets and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor SMT line equipment including Pick & Place machines, Stencil Printers, Reflow Ovens, AOI, and SPI systems
Plan and execute daily SMT production schedules to meet output and delivery targets
Perform machine setup, program changeovers, and feeder loading as per BOM/work order
Conduct first article inspection (FAI) and ensure process parameters are within specification
Monitor solder paste printing, component placement accuracy, and reflow profiles
Identify and troubleshoot defects (tombstoning, bridging, misalignment,



cold joints, etc.)
Ensure compliance with internal quality standards
Maintain SMT line documentation: production reports, downtime logs, rejection analysis
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams to minimize downtime
Implement 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives
Train and guide line operators on machine handling and safety practices
Ensure adherence to ESD and safety protocols on the shop floor

Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or related field
Hands-on experience with SMT machines (e.g., Panasonic)
Solid understanding of PCB assembly processes and SMT defects
Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Ability to work in shifts and manage a production team
