CNC Operator requirements

· Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM programs.

· Knowledge of CNC machine operation, programming, and setup.

· Ability to use measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) for quality control.

· Understanding of tooling and workpiece material properties.

· High school diploma or equivalent; ITI, technical/vocational training preferred.

· Certification or training in CNC machining or manufacturing technology (e.g., NC/CNC operator certification).

· Prior experience operating CNC machinery is highly desirable.

· Familiarity with different types of CNC machines (milling, turning, drilling).

· Understanding of workplace safety standards

· Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and make adjustments.

· Attention to detail to detect and correct errors in machining.

· Basic understanding of mechanical systems and machine components.

· Positive communication skills to work with team members and supervisors.

· Positive hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
