Job Description – CounsellorPosition: Counsellor

Location: Kapurthala, Punjab

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Salary & IncentivesBase Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Incentives: Performance-based incentives, approximately ₹18,000 per month based on targets and performance.
Job ResponsibilitiesCounsel and guide prospective students/customers regarding available programs and services.
Understand candidates’ requirements and recommend suitable options.
Handle walk-in enquiries, incoming calls, leads, and follow-ups.
Maintain regular follow-up with interested candidates and convert leads into admissions/enrolments.
Explain courses/programs, fees, eligibility, processes, and other relevant information clearly.
Achieve monthly counselling, admission, and conversion targets.
Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, and admissions.
Coordinate with the sales, admissions, and operations teams when required.




Build positive relationships with candidates and provide qualified support throughout the admission process.
Follow up on pending documentation and payments where required.
Candidate RequirementsGood communication and interpersonal skills.
Confident personality with robust convincing and counselling skills.
Comfortable handling calls, walk-ins, and follow-ups.
Target-oriented and motivated to earn incentives.
Basic computer and MS Office knowledge.
Previous experience in counselling, admissions, education, sales, telecalling, or a similar role will be preferred.
Freshers with strong communication and convincing skills may also apply.
