Role Description The PD Designer will work full time on-site in Gurugram, collaborating closely with design, merchandising, and production teams to convert fashion concepts into commercially viable products. Daily responsibilities include researching trends, developing seasonal concepts, creating detailed tech packs, and coordinating fabric, trims, and wash treatments that align with brand and buyer requirements. The role involves sketching and refining designs, reviewing samples, and providing constructive feedback to ensure fit, quality, and cost targets are met. The PD Designer will also support buyer presentations, maintain design documentation,



and help optimize product development timelines from initial idea to bulk production.
Qualifications
Strong skills in fashion design and product development, including sketching, creating tech packs, and translating concepts into production-ready styles.
Experience with fabric, trims, and wash development for casual shirts, blouses, and bottoms, with an understanding of international fashion trends.
Proficiency in design and visualization tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar CAD software for apparel.
Knowledge of garment construction, pattern-making basics, and fit evaluation to work effectively with sampling and production teams.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with internal teams and global buyers in a rapid-paced workplace.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple styles and seasons simultaneously.
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
Prior experience in an apparel manufacturing or export setting is preferred; familiarity with global market requirements is an advantage.
