About the Role

Numiq is looking for a qualified accountant (ACCA / equivalent) to support the CFO and Finance team of a UK-based client. The role will involve hands-on financial accounting, reporting, reconciliations and audit coordination, while also working with Numiq to document and improve accounting processes using AI and automation.

Key Responsibilities
Perform monthly bank account reconciliations and support recurring finance operations.
Prepare draft interim and year-end financial statements.
Work from Trial Balances and system-generated Audit Trails to prepare financial statements.
Incorporate historical adjustments and applicable accounting standards into year-end accounts.




Support and manage the external audit process.
Coordinate directly with auditors through finalisation of financial statements.
Document accounting processes, recurring tasks and SOPs.
Work with the Numiq team to identify opportunities for AI-enabled accounting automation.

Candidate Profile
ACCA qualified / part-qualified with robust relevant experience, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
Strong grounding in financial accounting and financial reporting.
Experience preparing financial statements from Trial Balance.
Experience supporting year-end accounts and external audits.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Exposure to UK accounting and reporting would be preferred.
Interest in AI, automation and technology-enabled accounting workflows is a plus.

Employment Type: Contractual or Full time

Compensation: ₹6–10 LPA, based on experience
