Job Description – Admission Counsellor

Position: Admission Counsellor

Key Responsibilities
Handle enquiries from prospective parents and students through calls, emails, and walk-ins.
Explain the school’s academic programmes, admission process, facilities, boarding options, fee structure, and policies to parents.
Follow up with prospective parents and maintain regular communication throughout the admission process.
Schedule and coordinate campus visits, counselling sessions, assessments, and interviews.
Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, applications, and admissions.
Assist parents with the required documentation and completion of admission formalities.
Coordinate with the Admissions, Academic, Accounts, and other relevant departments for smooth processing of admissions.
Maintain and regularly update the admission database and generate follow-up reports.
Support the school during admission events, open houses, and promotional activities.




Ensure a professional and welcoming experience for prospective parents and students.

Requirements
Graduate in any discipline; candidates with qualifications in Management, Education, Psychology, or Communication will be preferred.
2–5 years of experience in admissions, counselling, sales, education, or a similar role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Robust convincing, counselling, and follow-up abilities.
Positive command of spoken and written English.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications.
Presentable, confident, and skilled personality.
Experience in a reputed school, boarding school, or educational institution will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
