Job Description – SAP FICO Consultant

Role Summary

HANSAI is looking for an SAP FICO Consultant with a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in SAP implementation, rollout and support projects. The candidate should have robust functional knowledge of Financial Accounting and Controlling, along with good business-process understanding.

Key Responsibilities
Provide SAP FICO L2 and L3 functional support.
Handle configuration, testing and documentation for FI and CO processes.
Participate in implementation, rollout, upgrade and support projects.
Analyse business requirements and prepare functional specifications.
Configure General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting and Bank Accounting.
Support Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, Internal Orders and Product Costing.
Resolve month-end and year-end closing issues.
Work with MM, SD, PS, PM and ABAP teams on integration requirements.
Prepare test scripts, user manuals and process documents.
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, UAT support and end-user training.
Manage change requests, incident resolution and transport coordination.

Required Skills
Minimum two years of relevant SAP FICO experience.




Hands-on experience in SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA.
Robust knowledge of FI–MM and FI–SD integration.
Understanding of taxation, withholding tax, banking and statutory reporting.
Ability to independently analyse and resolve functional issues.
Experience in preparing functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements and forms.
Good communication, documentation and client-handling skills.
Willingness to support international clients across different time zones when required.

Preferred Qualifications
At least one SAP implementation or rollout project.
Experience in SAP S/4HANA and Fiori applications.
Knowledge of Indian taxation and international rollouts.
SAP FICO certification will be an added advantage.
Experience in mining, manufacturing or project-based industries is preferred.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering or a related discipline.
