Job Description – Senior Accountant

Position: Senior Accountant

Experience: 7–8+ Years

Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month

Industry: Manufacturing

Location: Vasai East, Maharashtra

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com

Job Responsibilities
Handle daily accounting entries in Tally Prime/ERP.
Maintain purchase, sales, payment, receipt and journal entries.
Maintain ledgers and update bank passbook.
Handle bank reconciliation and banking transactions.
Manage payable, receivable and outstanding follow-ups.
Handle GST, TDS and other statutory compliance.
Prepare GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, TDS returns and related documents.
Handle e-invoice and e-way bill generation.
Prepare GST/TDS reconciliation and audit documents.
Prepare monthly P&L;, Balance Sheet and MIS reports.
Assist in monthly and yearly account closing.
Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants.
Maintain proper accounting and audit records.
Support junior accounting staff and ensure timely completion of work.

Required Skills:
Strong practical knowledge of Tally Prime/ERP.
Excellent knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
Hands-on experience in GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, TDS 24Q, 26Q,



and Form 26AS reconciliation.
Good knowledge of e-invoicing and e-way bills.
Valuable knowledge of MS Excel.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and finalization of accounts.
Positive knowledge of bank reconciliation, receivables, payables, and ledger management.
Experience in the manufacturing industry will be preferred.
Good communication, coordination, and analytical skills.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with 7–8+ years of experience, preferably from a manufacturing company. The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of Tally, GST, TDS, banking, reconciliations, statutory compliance, and finalization of accounts.
