AC Mechanic – Job DescriptionJob Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced AC Mechanic to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair air-conditioning and refrigeration systems. The candidate should have positive technical knowledge, practical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Install, inspect, maintain, and repair split, window, cassette, ducted, and other air-conditioning systems.
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related faults.
Check and repair compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, thermostats, fans, and other components.
Perform refrigerant charging, recovery, leak detection, and pressure testing.
Clean and service AC filters, coils, drain lines, and related components.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to schedules.
Use appropriate tools and testing equipment to identify faults and complete repairs.
Maintain service records and report technical issues when required.
Follow electrical, refrigeration, and workplace safety procedures.
Ensure completed work meets quality and customer-service standards.
Maintain tools, equipment, and the work area in good condition.

Requirements




ITI/Diploma or equivalent technical qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is preferred.
Previous experience as an AC Technician/Mechanic is preferred.
Knowledge of electrical wiring, refrigeration systems, and HVAC components.
Ability to read basic electrical and wiring diagrams.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driving license may be required depending on the job.
Willingness to work flexible schedule or respond to emergency service calls when required.
