Supervise the day-to-day functioning of the hostel.
Maintain discipline, cleanliness, hygiene, and a protected setting.
Monitor student attendance, in/out movement, and hostel timings.
Ensure students follow hostel rules and regulations.
Coordinate with wardens, security staff, housekeeping, maintenance, and administration.
Address students routine concerns and escalate serious issues to the appropriate authority.
Maintain hostel registers, records, inventories, and incident reports.
Monitor rooms, common areas, washrooms, electricity, water supply, and other facilities.
Report maintenance requirements and follow up until resolution.
Assist during student emergencies and inform management/parents as per institutional protocol.
Supervise housekeeping and ensure proper sanitation.
Help with hostel admissions, room allotment, shifting, and vacating procedures.
Conduct regular rounds and identify safety or security concerns.
Support hostel activities, inspections, and institutional events.
Maintain skilled, respectful, and approachable conduct with students.
Ensure compliance with institutional policies and applicable safety procedures.
