Job description:

We are looking for a skilled Mainframe Developer with robust Banking, Insurance domain knowledge to join our technology team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in COBOL, Assembler based mainframe applications,

. Modernize Mainframe application to Cloud, transform to latest technologies

. Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications in a banking and insurance workplace.
. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
. Perform coding, testing, debugging, and implementation of COBOL programs.
. Work with DB2 databases for queries, data processing, and optimization.
. Develop and maintain batch processing using JCL and scheduling tools.
. Troubleshoot production issues and ensure timely resolution.
. Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and other technology teams.
. Participate in code reviews, system integration testing, and release deployments.
. Ensure adherence to banking regulatory and security standards
