Role & responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java.

• Build and enhance test automation frameworks for web, API, and backend testing.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing.

• Work extensively with Postman for API testing and validation. • Create and execute automated API test suites.

• Analyze requirements and independently define test scenarios, test cases, and test data.

• Identify, document, track, and verify defects using bug-tracking tools. • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Take ownership of QA activities and deliver testing tasks independently

.• Stay updated with modern QA tools, automation practices, and testing technologies.

Preferred candidate profile :

8+ years of experience in QA/testing, with strong automation experience.

• Strong programming experience in Java.

• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, Rest Assured, or similar.





• Strong experience with Postman and API testing.

• Positive understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP methods, authentication, and response validation.

• Experience creating automation scripts from scratch.

• Ability to design scalable and maintainable automation frameworks.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar.

• Experience with version control tools like Git.

• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.

• Robust debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of assigned QA work.

Good to Have :

• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or similar.

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Experience with containerized environments such as Docker.

• Knowledge of security testing basics.

• Experience with up-to-date QA practices including shift-left testing,

contract testing, and CI/CD
