Major Responsibilities:

Procurement Operations:
Responsible for procurement of raw materials, flanges, electronics, consumables, machining components, and outsourced materials.
Release daily Purchase Orders (POs), track and monitor delivery schedules, and ensure on-time delivery (OTD) above 95%.
Coordinate with planning and production teams to address material shortages and related issues.

Vendor Management:
Send Requests for Quotation (RFQs), obtain quotations, and prepare comparative statements for approval.
Track supplier performance and follow up for timely material delivery and acceptance.
Maintain supplier relationships and ensure smooth communication and conflict resolution.

Technical Evaluation:
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Ensure knowledge of costing related to machining, raw material,



and electronic components.
Conduct ABC analysis and forecast demand for critical items.

Inventory and Shortage Management:
Ensure timely closure of daily production shortages and consumable stock issues.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock availability as per production plans.

Process and Compliance:
Be conversant with process flow charts, operation sequences, and quality norms.
Ensure adherence to internal quality and procurement procedures.

System Handling and Reporting:
Work with SAP and Microsoft Excel for purchase tracking and reporting.
Maintain regular MIS reports and dashboards for internal review.
